Statement of Laura Jarrett: Jeffrey Epstein Lawsuit Released
943 pages of dock events, so it is quite a bit to pour through. It is mostly deposition transcripts and motions in the civil suit involving Ghislaine Maxwell. Somebody who has been accused of grooming young girls for abuse by Jeffrey Epstein. It includes deposition transcripts from Maxwell herself, where she has been asked about different sex acts with Jeffrey Epstein, and she denies, obviously, any wrongdoing, even though she has not been convicted and is serving time behind bars.
This was some years ago when she was maintaining her innocence, and she was specifically asked about interactions that former President Bill Clinton may have had with Epstein. She was asked about meals with Clinton. She states that she can’t remember any dinners with him. She is asked whether Clinton had a meal on Jeffrey Epstein’s plane.
These are the types of interactions we expect. Much of this has been reported in the public domain, but it is different now seeing it in a court filing. These court filings have been redacted and kept under wraps for many years as part of the civil litigation I mentioned, and we will continue poring through to uncover what we found. None of this suggests any wrongdoing by the former President or suggests he was involved in a crime.
It is merely talking about his connection to Epstein, something that has already been out there. Still, he has maintained his innocence and denied any wrongdoing as it relates to any abuse and people Epstein exploited.

Ghislaine Maxwell reveals
the documents involving Ghislaine Maxwell reveal that in response to many pointed and direct questions about sexual encounters, she often states,
“I don’t recollect.” it’s notable that there is never a flat-out “no” in her responses. despite very specific and pointed questions about time and details, her consistent response is that she doesn’t recollect.
Release Name List
remember, these are depositions happening years back. the lawsuit we are talking about dates back to 2015. it has long since been settled, but the court records are obviously of interest to reporters who sued to get this information.
when she says she doesn’t recall and in other places, she does flatly deny some of the allegations. it was well before the federal investigation that ultimately led to her downfall and her prison sentence of 20 years behind bars that she is now serving.
this is all part of a lawsuit between one of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, against Ghislaine Noelle Marion Maxwell. finally, the judge said, listen, there is this lawsuit. the public wants to know. we are going to release the names. there are hundreds of court filings and several names. we know at least two people have asked for the names not to be revealed just yet. they will wait 30 days. what did we know about those people?

both being survivors and victims of Epstein’s abuse. we know that some of these documents still have redactions, and it is our understanding that some of the victims were underage at the time of the abuse and asked that their identities be protected, and the judge wants to honor that. Two of them are still anonymous.
The court has said they will look at that and take it under evaluation to figure out what to do with documents that still mention those two people. If there are any John Does, former associates, friends of Epstein, or men who were associated with him in problematic ways, we will have to wait and see. The court has said most of these documents are not supposed to be salacious. Again, a lot of this has come out from public evidence and reporting, but we are still in the early days as we dig through the first couple of these and come on the air.
